This is a “we listen and we don’t judge” kind of skincare day, because we know Heather does a lot of things to herself in the name of beauty.
Today I’m going to share my experience from a full day of mesotherapy skin boosters.
First of all, what is mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is placing tiny amounts of a sterile skin booster directly into the skin through small superficial injections.
Mesotherapy is the technique, the skin booster is the product, and what it does depends on its ingredients. Some focus on hydration and that plump, refreshed look. Others are used to help support skin repair and building collagen over time.
The results depend on the specific product being injected.
Why I love skin boosters
Skin regeneration, or what I like to call “making my skin do the work,” has become one of my favorite things. It’s also the focus of The REGEN Room, my regenerative aesthetics practice in Amarillo, Texas, where I offer mesotherapy treatments.
Depending on the product used, treatments may help improve skin hydration, texture, and the appearance of fine lines, giving skin that plump, refreshed look. Certain products may also support collagen production over time.
You’ll hear me talk about hyaluronic acid, polynucleotides, PDRN, and biostimulators. These products have different purposes, so choosing the right treatment matters.
My goal is to share what I’m learning and help you understand the treatments you hear me talk about.
I truly believe regenerative treatments will play a big part in the future of skincare, and I’m excited to keep learning about them. Because in my experience, the results are worth it!
My experience with mesotherapy
The following video is my personal experience with mesotherapy, including the bruising that can come with the injections. It isn’t a step-by-step tutorial or a recommendation to copy my treatments. I’m simply sharing my experience with skin boosters.
As an RN, I want to help you understand what these treatments are, and share the supplies I’ve researched, tested, and use myself so you’re fully informed about the regenerative aesthetic options that are available.
I also want to be very clear that injectable skin boosters require qualified medical care, appropriate product selection, and an understanding of facial anatomy.
