Hi, I’m Heather, an RN, skincare creator, and founder of The REGEN Room.

I share the research, products, and treatments I’m passionate about to help women feel confident caring for their skin and aging on their own terms.

For as long as I can remember, people have commented on my skin and asked about my routine. Sharing what I knew came naturally to me, so I started posting about my skincare obsession on social media.

My goal is to educate and empower women to build their own routines, through an informed, research-backed, affordable approach to skincare and regenerative anti-aging.

My Story: How I got here

21 years ago: I became a registered nurse and spent 16 years on a surgical floor.

~10 years ago: I started sharing my skincare knowledge online. I didn't just want to talk about products, I wanted to educate people and help them build routines of their own.

Early days: I posted my first YouTube videos, and nobody watched. It was humbling, especially when the people around me didn’t really understand why I wanted to do it. So I stopped.

A woman with long blonde hair is smiling and holding a micro-needle device while standing in front of a doorframe. The left side of the image features text that reads, "Let's Roll: How I Derma-Roll My Face" and "My Guide to Micro-Needling at Home" in purple and black fonts, with a background of diagonal gray and white stripes.

Along the way: Life happened. I went through a divorce and thyroid cancer, and I decided to put all of my energy into raising my daughters. I still posted here and there, but I never fully committed to creating content.

~3 years ago: I started posting on TikTok, got some traction, and decided to take content creation seriously.

18 months ago: A skin flooding video took off, and I finally found my niche.

Three images of a blonde woman demonstrating skincare routines. In the first, she is touching her face with a caption about toners. The second is explaining microneedling techniques. In the third she is applying a skincare product on her cheek.

Last December: I had shoulder surgery. That turned into three surgeries, an infection, and a long recovery. Eventually, I was let go from the nursing job I’d held for 16 years. At the same time, the content I’d spent years building was starting to earn a real income. Looking back, all of this was definitely a God thing.

Right in the middle of it all: I was one of six U.S. creators invited to South Korea for the grand opening of AceCosm’s new BNCERA factory and their medical symposium, alongside providers from around the world. It felt like another sign I was on the right path.

Now: Creating content is my full-time job, and I still care for home health patients. I’m also the founder of The REGEN Room, an aesthetics practice in Amarillo where I bring together my love of regenerative aesthetics and skincare with my years of experience as an RN.

My nursing background means I look at ingredients, safety, and technique a little more critically than most.

I don't share anything until I've researched it, understood the safety considerations, and tried it myself. That's how I decide whether I actually trust it.

I'm not here to give medical advice or teach you how to perform treatments. I'm here to share what I've learned, so you can make informed decisions for yourself. No gatekeeping, and no pretending I'm always right. If something doesn't work, or new information emerges, I'll tell you that too.

The Personal Stuff

Outside of skincare and nursing, here’s the rest of me: I live in the Texas Panhandle and am engaged to Cody, a rancher who raises cattle. We’ve been together for years, and he proposed the day I flew home from Korea, so I guess he missed me!

I have two daughters who are the loves of my life. One is at the University of Oklahoma, and the other is at Texas Tech in nursing school. Although, to be honest, my favorite child is Coco, my Yorkiepoo, who is ten.

A smiling man and woman taking a selfie outdoors on a sunny day, with lush green trees and grass in the background. The man is wearing a light blue button-up shirt and a wide-brimmed hat, with sunglasses hanging from his shirt. The woman has long blonde hair and is wearing a black top, holding a drink with a straw.

When I'm not talking about skin, I'm probably cooking, tending my flowers (despite what the Texas heat does to them every summer!) or listening to a romance audiobook on the drive out to the ranch. I'm also a total clean freak, so if you're picturing my house, picture it spotless.

Now that you know my story, let's start writing yours.
